About

We build the payment rails your agent isn't supposed to have.

AI agents can browse, code, write, analyze, and increasingly — act. What they've been missing is a safe way to spend money without a human manually copy-pasting a card number every time, or handing over unrestricted API keys and hoping the prompt holds.

AgentPay exists to give developers the in-between: real virtual cards, issued on demand, bound to an amount and a purpose, released automatically if the agent doesn't actually need to spend. With a policy layer you control, an audit trail you can actually read, and an MCP server that works with the tools you already use.

We're small. The product is young. Test mode only, for now. We'll be honest about where we are in the FAQ and the changelog. If we're missing something you need, tell us — we read every email.

Principles

  • Be honest about the stage. We'd rather under-promise and ship than fake a production-grade posture.
  • Give developers the escape hatch. The CardProvider interface, the webhook event stream, the typed error contract — everything is built so you could rip us out if you had to.
  • Guardrails over guess-rails. We'd rather enforce a hard $500 cap than have an agent hallucinate a $2,400 charge.
  • Don't hide behind legalese. Our privacy page lists every field we store and why. Our security page lists the gaps we know about.
